International Food & Wine Society, Vancouver Chapter hosts Bordeaux Tasting – March 17, 2026,        At The Commons by CTS

The Vancouver chapter of the International Food and Wine Society hosted an exceptional 2015 Bordeaux tasting, expertly led by Sid Cross, founder of Chefs’ Table Society. The evening was elevated by thoughtfully curated food pairings from sommelier and chef Van Doren Chan, designed to showcase the depth and nuance of the wines. A standout highlight was the perfectly prepared duck breast, which paired beautifully with the structured reds of the region. Guests were treated to a refined bento box presentation, offering a selection of dishes that allowed for a dynamic and interactive exploration of flavour pairings—making for a memorable and immersive culinary experience.
