Smoke, fire, and the irresistible aroma of sizzling meat filled the air. Sunshine, ice-cold drinks, and the best vibes in town set the stage for 17 Black Event’s Brewery and the Beast 2025—and it did not disappoint!

Chefs’ Table BC was proud to return to the VIP booth as the passed canapé provider for over 300 lucky guests, serving up bite-sized perfection that paired beautifully with the day’s indulgent energy.

Under the leadership of CTS Membership Chair Peter Warszycki, the talented crew pulled off a flavour-packed menu after days of labour-intensive prep and service. Huge thanks to CTS Competition Chair Camille Sauvagnac, CTS Mentorship Program mentee Noura Ezzarouali, and CTS chef volunteers Kiki Richer and Simon Humphries, worked tirelessly on their own time to deliver some of the day’s tastiest offerings.

The Vancouver Firefighters Charity team kept crowds fed and happy, while guests stopped by to learn more about CooksCamp, upcoming special events, scholarships, and other exciting CTS initiatives. Other CTS board members had food stations including TJ Conwi of Ono Vancouver and Chris Andraza of Lift Bar & Grill

CTS board members Alex Tung, Robert Belcham, Shawna Gardham, longstanding CTS volunteers Taniyaa Khanna, Tina Saxton and Kristina Dyk sold 50/50 tickets to the fun crowd raisings funds for CTS Scholarships.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all CTS members, patrons, and sponsors who made this day another legendary success. Special appreciation to Two Rivers Meats, Fresh Point Canada, and Oyster and King Mushrooms for their generous in-kind donations and unwavering support. And huge thanks to 17 Black Events for putting on another stellar event!

See you next year for even more fire, flavour, and community!
