Chefs' Table Society of British Columbia (CTS), in collaboration with BC Salmon Marketing Council, is proud to present a celebration with 10 restaurants across BC honouring the rich heritage of wild BC salmon and to promote sustainable fisheries. From August 9th to 11th, 2024, 10 renowned restaurants across British Columbia will feature their delectable salmon dishes that showcase the region's iconic seafood.
BC's wild salmon holds a special place in the province's culinary culture, representing a culinary treasure and a testament to local fishers' dedication. The Wild Salmon Celebration aims to raise awareness about the significance of sustainable fishing practices in safeguarding this valuable resource for future generations.
"We are excited to partner with the Chefs' Table Society of BC to showcase wild BC salmon through this unique culinary event," said Lisa Simonson, a representative from the BC Salmon Marketing Council. During the three-day event, participating restaurants from various regions of British Columbia will offer special salmon dishes that range from traditional preparations to innovative culinary creations. Diners will have the opportunity to experience the diverse flavors and versatility of wild BC salmon while supporting sustainable fishing practices.
