Leading with Purpose

Chefs' Table Society of BC (CTS) started out 20 years ago with a mission of promoting sustainability for our local food systems and promoting local food champions. In recent years, CTS has expanded our definition of what sustainability means to include the sustainability of the people that make our industry vibrant and resilient. We believe that people are the heart of our industry.

CTS has received from the Sector Labour Market Partnership program of the BC Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills for a project to help operators ONE-ON-ONE to become more people focused and to strengthen workplace culture.

Your business can be a part of this important program!

Why is this session important for entrepreneurs, owners/operators and managers?

We believe workplace culture starts with you!
We have been speaking to professionals across our industry and the common theme is mental health and wellness in the workplace. Before the pandemic, many people we talk to felt like they had more energy and the ability to seemlessly manage many more things at once. Deep seeded stress, depression and burnout are real causes of mental health challenges that can impact your workers and your workplace culture.

If you are asking any of the questions below - take the time to join us on and take away practical learnings that you can apply right away!
• What is Mental Health in the Workplace?
• How do I evaluate my own mental health and help myself avoid burnout?
• How do I help my people who are facing mental health challenges?
• What tools are out there that can help me navigate this new aspect of leadership?

Don't miss this opportunity to focus on your mental health and bring great skills back to your workplace and unlock hidden potential in your team.
