  1. Website
    • Board reviewed colour palettes for the website.  The board voted on the “pumpkin colour palette.  Also asked for more colours to choose from.  Jeremy will send out by email to the board in the following week.
    • Reviewed home page format.
    • Board will need to prepare a registration form to be used to sign up new members.  Members will be able to sign up using the website or by mailing in registration.
    • A P.O. Box will have to be set up for receiving cheques in the mail.  Tiffany will collect all forms, process the information and send the cheques to Jack.
    • Membership will be on an individual basis, no corporate memberships.
    • Calendar of events will be monitored by Tiffany Soper.
    • Tiffany will prepare a mail out to distribute to all the chefs in Eating and Drinking guide.
    • The website should be ready to go live by mid April.
    • Vancouver Magazine Restaurant awards will be held on May 3, 2006.
  2. Report – Dinnerworks
    • Mary, RobertC. and Vikram had a tour of  Dinnerworks kitchen on Tuesday, February 28 , 2006
    • Recipes would be donated by individual chefs to Dinnerworks to use in promotions in exchange the chefs table society would benefit from a portion of sales of each recipe purchased by Dinnerworks cliental.
    • The chefs would have to use local ingredients in the recipes they provide and if possible arrange for the local producers to be tied into the promotion.
    • One concern was raised that the kitchen does not include any cook tops and therefore quality control of the recipes could be an issue.
    • The board voted to put this project on hold until after the membership drive and website is established.  Will revisit this topic in September.
  3. Presentation – Gift Cards
    • The board will review this topic in the fall.
  4. Other Business
    • Board meetings will be held the last Monday of every month.  Meetings will not be held in July, August or December.

Next Board Meeting is set for Monday, April 24th at Vij’s Restaurant, 3pm-4pm
