
Chefs' Table Society board members, Cheryl Chang, Peter Warszycki, Johnny Bridge, and Dez Lo attended the Presidents' Gala hosted by BC Chef Association at the Vancouver Club on Friday, March 14. The 55th annual fundraiser an awesome showcase of support for National Culinary Team Canada as they gear up for the IKA Culinary Olympics in Germany. A well organized, full house event packed with industry peers, culinary legends and future stars! Lots of delicious stations and bites prepared by Culinary Team Canada.
Message from CTS President Johnny, "we enjoyed the evening chatting with BC Chefs Association President, Elizabeth Grimaldi, and other attendees about CTS’s upcoming Curry Cup on March 24th. We also brainstormed ideas for the forthcoming Bruno Marti Scholarship—an exciting new initiative that promises to foster and empower up-and-coming culinary competition talent—and, of course, indulged in the team’s incredible cuisine. It warmed my heart to see the BC Chefs Association and the Chefs’ Table Society come together through shared goals and collaboration.
The Presidents' Gala was an inspiring evening that underscored our mutual commitment to elevating the culinary arts and strengthening bonds within our hospitality community. We look forward to continuing this momentum in partnership and can’t wait to see what’s next for Team Canada—and for all rising chefs across the country."
