  1. Director’s Report
    • Robert motioned to accept 1st draft of Mission statement, Julian 2nd the motion.
    • Mary and Jack would still like to have Jamie Maw’s feedback
    • Statement can be revised at a later date.
    • Mission Statement

      To gather a community of local food, beverage and hospitality professionals to help support innovative and sustainable programs that will create an environment to nurture, inspire and educate our future chefs, local producers and our industry.  Through the interaction and the exchange of information between culinary professionals the “Chefs Table Society” seeks to elevate our regional cuisine.

  2. Membership
    • Members will pay $25 to join the society.
    • Jack will provide an address to one of his restaurants so that dues can be mailed in and collected.
  3. Networking
    • The July 18th membership gathering has a new location.  We’ll gather at the Dubrulle restaurant called Culinaria located in the Art Institute of Vancouver, 609 Granville Street.
    • A board meeting will take place from 5pm to 6pm at Culinaria.
    • Gathering will start at 6pm.  Cost for members will be $10 per person.  Alcohol will be BYOB.  The food will be provided at cost by the culinary students.  Thanks to Julian Bond for organizing this event.
    • The purpose of the event is to network and present members with our mission statement and discuss goals of the society.
    • Vikram suggest that the board not meet during August and all agree.
    • Jack suggested that members be able to communicate through email during the summer.  Julian is getting the group email up and running by next Thursday.
