- Presentation of Project CHEF by Barbara Finley
- Barbara provided the board members with a package outlining the program
- Barbara is proposing the development of a school program aimed at elementary children in the Lower Mainland that teaches children about food: where it comes from, what it tastes like, how to prepare it and the enjoyment of sharing it around a table.
- Barbara is proposing that the Chefs Table Society offer financial support ($5000.00 to fund implementation of the program), endorsement, support and contribution of recipes.
- Membership
- No present board members have contacted Tiffany to resign from board positions.
- Jack would like to step down from his position as treasurer and will stay on the board to support the member filling his position.
- Reviewed the list of new board member nominations.
- Voted on new members. Tiffany will contact these members and ask that they attend the next board meeting at 2pm on February 19, 2007.
- The size of the board will increase to 15 members. Will create new positions of Directors at Large to support heavy board portfolios.
- Positions to be filled include: new Treasurer, Vice President, Director of IT, Director of scholarship, Director of Marketing.
- The board will continue to pay Tiffany for the administrative work she does for the board, Tiffany will also hold a voluntary position on the board as Director of Communications.
- Sustainability
- Robert Clark suggests the board organize a local spot prawn festival to take place beginning May 1, 2007. Robert has been in contact with a local spot prawn fisherman who is willing to give a discount to Chef Table Society members. Will discuss this further at future board meeting.

Next Board meeting will be held Monday, February 19, 2007 2pm, Terminal City Club.
Board meetings will be held the last Monday of every month. Meetings will not be held in July, August or December.
