Approval of Board Minutes June 26, 2012 – waved no minutes available at time of meeting

  1. Financial Report: Neil Wyles – Absent
    • No Report
    • Mary accepted a $648.53 cheque from D&M and will pass on to Neil
  2. Canadian Chef Congress: Julian Bond
    • Chris Whittaker will represent the CTS at the congress.  The present board passed a motion and voted to approve travel and accommodation for Chris (up to $2,500) – 1st- Robert Clark 2nd-Robert Belcham
  3. AGM 

    • Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at PICA
    • Board to have monthly meeting from 2:30pm-3:30pm
    • Olive Oil tasting (organized by Sid Cross) from 3:30pm-4pm
    • AGM will start at 4pm sharp and run to 4:45pm
    • Committee chairs must make presentations at the AGM
    • Mary will prepare the AGM agenda and email to board to review.
  4. Branding & Marketing Committee: Robert Belcham
    • Website is up and running all members are encouraged to visit the site and contribute on a regular basis.
    • Present board reviewed and passed approval of the CTS Committee Chair Qualifications and Responsibilities, Initiatives and Values.
  5. Action

    • Alvina to email board job descriptions to review for posting on website.
    • Alvina and Mary to meet to prepare material for AGM.
    • Alvina to post past minutes on website.
    • Alvina to give “belong” cards to Julian for Feast of Fields
