- Planning for Vancouver Magazine Awards
- Vikram will give a speech at the awards. He will push to get members to sign up and to announce the website.
- Board members will staff a sign up table.
- Sid will organize for Vikram to have a slot to speak at the awards.
- Board members to arrive at 12 noon in chef whites for set-up.
- Board to focus on membership drive.
- Tiffany and Marilee will co-ordinate banners and sign up sheet for the awards day.
- Jeremy to set up a laptop so chefs can view the website at the table or a representation of the website.
- Tiffany will bring supplies, including paper clips, pens, etc.
- Individual membership dues are $25 per year.
- Tiffany will process all the application forms and transfer funds to Jack.
- John will contact members of the media to get the word out about the new website.
- Marilee will have business cards made up for the society, 500 with the logo and website.

- Final colour palette was selected.
- Jeremy will contact Jamie Maw to get a write up on the history of the society for the home page.
- Board members to send relevant links to Jeremy to post on the site.
- Contact email on site will go to Tiffany’s email address.

- Jamie suggests a summer gathering once the membership drive is complete. Pot-luck on the beach?
- John suggests a Chinese dim-sum gathering, renting out a room for the group to gather.

- John suggests that the society offer the option of a 2 year membership at a discounted price, such as $40.
- Vikram will discuss year-end financial with Jack.
Board meetings will be held the last Monday of every month. Meetings will not be held in July, August or December.
Next Board Meeting is set for Monday, May 29, 2006 at Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates & Patisserie, 3pm-4pm
