Approval of Board Minutes March 27, 2012 – Julian 1st, Robert Clark 2nd

- Inventory has been reduced. There are still cases of books available for sale
- Canadian Chefs’ Congress: Robert Clark
- Neil and Julian to set date for Mystery Chef Dinner at PICA
- Spot Prawn Report: Chris Whittaker
- Georgia Straight ad went out
- Reviewed budget
- On-line sales were capped at 900 + 300 tickets to sell at event = 1200 total
- Chris volunteered to co-chair Spot Prawn Festival 2013. Expand Spot Prawn committee by 2013
- Membership:Robert Belcham & Katharine Manson
- Board passed a vote to increase annual membership rates to $35 as of June 1st 2013. Members will receive cards for perks and a new online social network for peer support. New members will receive a CTS branded apparel upon sign-up
- New 2 tier level of membership consisting of individual chefs and partners of the CTS. Board to approve partners.
- Administrator to mail out membership cards.
- IT Report: Karen Hamilton
- June 1, 2012, website to be updated with new logo, membership tiers and members-only area, directory, resource listing, event listing, merchandise.
- Website upgrade will take between 20-40 hours to implement, budget is around $3000-$4000
- Board 2012/13
- Mary to email 2011/12 board members to see if any members wish to resign their positions
- Julian Bond & Sephen Wong volunteered to outline board positions
- Reviewed existing Committee line-up and discussed changes for next term.
- Bill Jones will look into possibility of an affiliation with Vancouver Island’s ICCCanadian Chefs’ Congress Nova Scotia September 17 & 18,2012
