Scholarships and Bursaries

The Chefs’ Table Society supports the advancement of students and cooks in the culinary fields via scholarships and bursaries, which are either awarded singly by the Society or in partnership with organizations that we support.

All applicants must be an Industry member in good standing.

John Bishop Scholarship

Apply by May 15, 2026

John Bishop was an early champion of all things local, sustainable and organic. In the spirit of John’s extraordinary passion, this scholarship is awarded to those who focus on these important objectives.

Bruno Marti Scholarship

Apply by June 1, 2026

Bruno Marti’s commitment and passion for competition is inspiring. To honour this a scholarship will be awarded to a deserving recipient striving for excellence in the culinary competion world.

CTS CULINARY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Applications open from September to December each year.

The Chefs Table Society of British Columbia is proud to grant scholarships to individuals at any stage of their culinary career who are enrolled in a recognized culinary college in British Columbia.

BCHF Culinary Scholarship

Are you looking to start your career in the culinary industry? You are eligible to apply for a BCHF Culinary Scholarship. There are barriers to switching careers or getting started but money shouldn’t be one.

Along with the BC Hospitality Foundation the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia has five scholarships to award to those who express clearly an interest and desire to work in the BC culinary industry.

The Chefs’ Table Society of BC selects the students and the BCHF funds the scholarships.
