Multi gold medal winning chef on the national and international stage, Chef Marti personifies culinary distinction. In recognition of this, Chef Marti was awarded the Order of Canada in 2024 but as he would be the first to say “I’m just a cook”. All the supporting organizations for this scholarship would emphasize he may be a cook but he is THE one to emulate professionally. There is only one Canadian Culinary Godfather.
For 2026, Bruno Marti along with panel representatives from Chefs’ Table Society of BC, BC Chefs Association, Okanagan Chefs Association, North Vancouver Island Culinary Association and Les Dames d’Escoffier will choose one recipient to be awarded the Bruno Marti Scholarship.
In keeping Chef Marti’s lifelong commitment to excellence in competition, this scholarship will focus on his vision.
The scholarship recipient will be awarded cash to support their competition training, a place on the “team” delivering “Canada’s Largest Family Meal” at COOKS CAMP2026 and a 2 day pass to the event.
