We focus on green initiatives for our society - ensuring that we follow our mandate to protect our food security and work with local BC farmers & purveyors who supply sustainable ingredients.
We focus on recruitment and retaining membership. We like to keep things running smoothly for our current members while having a good time meeting new ones.
One of the most important goals of the Chefs' Table Society is to educate young chefs. We find partners to sponsor scholarships and award young ambitious chef's with financial assistance to further their education.
We work closely with all the committees, making sure our brand is visible, updating our website, creating strategies to further our presence in the culinary community and attending events in and around BC.
Spot Prawn Festival
Although the BC Spot Prawn Festival only happens once a year, we work all year long planning this incredible annual event. Each year the festival grows - more people attend and more committee members are needed to make all the necessary arrangements.
Members are encouraged to volunteer with the Chefs' Table Society. You'll get to work and learn from some of your favourite chefs, and you'll feel good about giving back to your community and fellow chefs.
